Principles

These are the Seven Noahide Laws — ancient moral principles given for all humanity. They are not doctrine to argue about. They are simply a foundation for a just and reverent life.

  1. 1. Do not worship idols

    Acknowledge one God alone.

  2. 2. Do not blaspheme God

Respect the Creator in speech and thought.

  3. 3. Do not murder

    Protect and honor human life.

  4. 4. Do not steal

    Respect what belongs to others.

  5. 5. Do not engage in forbidden relations

Honor the boundaries of intimate life.

  6. 6. Do not eat flesh from a living animal

    Avoid cruelty to living creatures.

  7. 7. Establish courts of justice

Uphold fairness and law in society.

These laws require no commentary. They stand as they are.
