Principles
These are the Seven Noahide Laws — ancient moral principles given for all humanity. They are not doctrine to argue about. They are simply a foundation for a just and reverent life.
1. Do not worship idols
Acknowledge one God alone.
2. Do not blaspheme God
Respect the Creator in speech and thought.
3. Do not murder
Protect and honor human life.
4. Do not steal
Respect what belongs to others.
5. Do not engage in forbidden relations
Honor the boundaries of intimate life.
6. Do not eat flesh from a living animal
Avoid cruelty to living creatures.
7. Establish courts of justice
Uphold fairness and law in society.
These laws require no commentary. They stand as they are.
